15. Inspiration of Scripture


In order for us to have a sure foundation for what we believe, God has revealed his Word (the Bible) to us as the basis of our beliefs. God cannot err (Heb 6:18) and neither can his Word (John 17:17). We believe the Scriptures are the divinely authoritative revelation from God.




16. Method of Interpretation


All salvation doctrine are derived from the Bible by the literal method of interpretation- that is, Scripture is true, just as the author meant it. By applying the historical and grammatical method of interpretation, the Scriptures will reveal essential truths for salvation. (2 Tim 3:16)
